What?! Calm down! We liked everyone’s submissions!

In all seriousness, now that the CHIPUBLIB Sound Off is officially over and done, we just wanted to take the time to thank everyone who participated, whether you entered, judged, promoted, or attended the show. We had an awesome time throughout the whole process and can’t put into words how impressed we were with everything and everyone involved—especially considering that there was a steady stream of rain during the entire show.

Special thanks definitely go out to Psalm One and Shawn Pennington, who not only put on amazing performances, but who are both genuinely nice, talented people.

Hopefully you all enjoyed the CHIPUBLIB Sound Off as much as we did. Keep checking back for more concert goodies.

OHMYGOSH TODAY IS THE DAY!

We’re way too busy running around, preparing for the CHIPUBLIB Sound Off Concert to post anything even mildly entertaining today. You’ll just have to show up at the concert to be entertained instead!

Ok, people, no more game playing. No more catchy sayings or pertinent links. No begging (we’ve got to maintain some dignity). Today’s post is going to be straight to the point. Ahem:

The CHIPUBLIB SOUND OFF CONCERT is TOMORROW at 5:30pm in PRITZKER PARK. It is going to be awesome. It is free. Be there.

I was just outside running some errands in preparation for the CHIPUBLIB Sound Off Concert and couldn’t help but walk around with a little spring in my step. Leaves were crunching; the sun was shining; I swear I smelled cinnamon in the air. Have you been outside lately? If not, make an excuse to go immediately. It’s beautiful.

That’s why when I came back inside, I decided that I had to post something on our blog about today’s gorgeous weather. I did what anyone would do: I Googled “beautiful autumn day.” Google must be feeling the autumn love too, because it gave me exactly what I asked for: the above image.

Dorky? Definitely. Awesome for that reason? Of course. And totally, completely true.
