ABOUT: What do you know about comics? What kinds of comics do you read? Teens will compare and discuss personal stories presented in social media and comics, brainstorming the most engaging and effective formats. After reviewing themes found in author Corinne Mucha’s graphic novel, Freshman: Tales of Ninth Grade Obsessions, Revelations, and Other Nonsense, participants will ultimately create their own comic stories about school.
