Michael Childers in Conversation with Bill Zwecker: A Focus on the ‘Author, Author’ Photography Exhibit

ABOUT: World-renowned photographer Michael Childers appears in conversation with Bill Zwecker to discuss his life, career and the Author, Author exhibition currently on display through Feb. 3, 2013 in the Congress Corridor of the Harold Washington Library Center.

Author, Author exhibits more than 50 original, intimate portraits of some of the 20th century’s greatest authors, playwrights and screenwriters taken by Childers from the 1960s through 2012.

Michael Childers is a photographer and occasional actor. Childers graduated from UCLA Film School and is mainly a photographer for magazines, theater productions, film posters and books. For a complete biography and more information about his work, please visit the Michael Childers website.

Bill Zwecker is an award-winning journalist whose column appears in the Chicago Sun-Times. Zwecker is also the entertainment reporter and film critic for Fox Chicago News (WFLD-TV) and is known for covering the globe, finding out the latest news about celebrities for his readers and viewers.
