ABOUT: Originally from the dusty plains of west Texas, Scott Gryder is a professional cabaret entertainer in Chicago. He’s known for singing zany character songs, specialty numbers, and show tunes, but also covers the works of local talents such as Susan Werner and pop stars including Elton John. For more than a year, Scott has delighted audiences at the 3160 Piano & Cabaret (at 3160 N. Clark) with his ongoing show ‘Simply Scotty.’ His accompanist, Nick Sula, born and raised in Chicago, is a pianist, composer, arranger, and an active member of Chicago Cabaret Professionals. Presented in cooperation with the Library’s LGBT Pride Committee.
