We invited the Blackhawks’ Patrick Sharp to stop by our Mabel Manning location so that we could thank him for the support that Chicago Blackhawks Charities have shown the branch.
And wouldn’t ya know it — he showed up!
Yesterday afternoon, #10 graciously visited with the staff and signed autographs for some local families.
Another big thanks to Patrick, the Hawks & their charitable offshoot! Their generous sponsorship provides Mabel Manning’s Teacher in the Library, who offers afterschool homework help AND the CyberNavigator, who provides technology training to patrons.
