November 8th, 2011

We’re 2-2 this week. Or 0-2 depending on which side of the coin you’re on.

Like yesterday’s event with Tom Brokaw, tonight’s free conversation with Harry Belafonte is SOLD OUT! We aren’t accepting any further registration. Our apologies for any inconvenience.

But much like yesterday’s event, we’re hosting a stand-by line for those without registration. Registrations not claimed by 5:50 p.m. will be distributed to those in the stand-by line, in order of arrival. Seating is not guaranteed for those in the stand-by line. Stand-by guests who are unable to be seated are invited to purchase a copy of Belafonte’s new book,My Song: A Memoir, and take part in the his book signing after the program has ended.

We’re looking forward to an inspiring evening inside Cindy Pritzker Auditorium at Harold Washington Library Center, as WBEZ’s Richard Steele hosts our conversation with this extraordinary artist and activist.
